BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH PROJECT EXPERIENCE

 

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Chicago, Illinois
The Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center. New twelve-story, 450,000 SF facility to provide state-of-the-art research space and animal facilities for Northwestern University and the Medical School. The facility will house 9 floors of biomedical research and support space, an 80,000 SF below-grade vivarium as well as offices, classrooms, auditoriums, informal lounge space and a campus center for dining and special events.

HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL
Boston, Massachusetts
New Research Building. New 430,000 SF facility to provide collaborative research space for biomedical research teams representing a variety of institutions. Building will be split between a 4-story low rise and 10-story high-rise tower, all of which will be connected with the existing 300,000 SF Harvard Institutes of Medicine (also designed by BR+A). Facility will house a 40,000 SF vivarium, an auditorium, conference center and café, as well as underground parking for more than 550 cars.

HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL
Boston, Massachusetts
Harvard Institutes of Medicine. 300,000 SF renovation of the former Boston English High School building to contain biomedical research facilities for Harvard Medical School and other Longwood Medical Area institutions. Building houses ten floors of research laboratories and 30,000 SF of animal facilities.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Research Facility Expansion. 100,000 SF addition to the existing 430,000 SF Abramson Pediatric Research Center (also designed by BR+A), plus 20,000 SF of renovations at the connection. Project will house the expansion of on-going biomedical research activities at the Hospital as well as office and support facilities for CHOP administrators and officers.
